Your Help Is Needed!
The Vilna Library is managed by a board made up completely of volunteers from the community. We are currently looking to add more board members and could really use your help if you have a few hours a month to contribute.
The commitment is to attend the board meetings held once a month and to help out in other areas such as fundraising, book keeping, planning, and other functions of the board. Other than attending the monthly meeting, just about anything else can be worked on as it fits into your schedule.
We are particularly short on help with book keeping but would appreciate help in any area you want to contribute in.
The library depends on help from community members so please consider helping out for a few hours a month.
The regular board meeting is held every second Tuesday of the month at 4:30 pm in the library. If you would like to help or just want to find out more about the board, feel free to attend one of our meeting. You can also contact the library and Roxanne or Donna would be happy to put you in contact with someone on the board who can answer your questions. Call the library at 780.636.2077
We're making some changes
For those of you who have been looking for more information here on Vilna's Library web pages, we are happy to tell you we are in the process of updating these pages and creating content that is useful and interesting. We are just getting into the editing and collection of the various page materials. The editing is done live so while you should start to see more infomation added here, you're also likely to see some blank pages and incomplete pages. Please bear with is as we continue to work on this.
Once we have everything organized and completed, you should find this site to be much more useful and informative. We expect to have most or all of the changes completed by the end of January. After that, we'll be working on any minor changes and to keep the content up-to-date.
